Alumna Rezanour '04 to Play Attorney in CBS Drama

And that's no "Bull"

“I knew this was in the wind. Jamie is very talented, and I was not surprised.”

Those were the words from Claire McDonald, UST’s Chair of Fine Arts, Drama and Dance, when she heard that Jamie Rezanour ’04 will play a lawyer in season 6, episode 6 of the CBS dramatic series, “Bull.”

Another Great Show for Rezanour

“Bull” stars Michael Weatherly as a renowned and prolific trial consultant named Dr. Jason Bull. The popular series combines psychology, human intuition and high-tech data in a mesmerizing manner. And alumna Jamie Rezanour will have her spotlight in the episode, which airs Thursday, Nov. 11, 2021. (If you miss the episode with Rezanour, you can always find it online)

A Memorable Talent Under the Lights

“Jamie was a quiet, powerful talent,” McDonald continued. “I distinctly remember her role in the now legendary production of ‘You Can’t Take It with You,’ an amazing ensemble of hilarious characters! I also recall scene work she performed as Jocasta in Sophocles’ ‘Oedipus Rex,’ which was fabulous.”

How to Follow Rezanour’s Career

Facebook is great for tracking the careers of successful St. Thomas drama majors, and McDonald delights in keeping up with Rezanour’s pages. After earning her bachelor’s, the young actor went to South America, where she honed her craft while perfecting her Spanish. Afterward, she was accepted into Southern Methodist University’s prestigious MFA acting program. Since then, her career, largely in New York City, has grown.

Goodness Begets Good

McDonald said, “Jamie personifies goodness, discipline, knowledge and especially community, a distinction that often favors actors. Now bilingual, she gives back her talent to our world. And we are all better for it.”
