It’s official: The first virtual Two Saints and a Taco Tasting - Home Edition will happen June 25, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. CDT, with a VIP Pre-Event from 6 - 6:30 p.m. This exciting generator of contributions to support UST’s Alumni Association Annual Scholarship Fund demonstrates how the University’s treasured alumni make a positive difference.

Carla E. Alsandor, Ph.D, senior director of alumni relations, said, “The idea to pivot to an online event illustrates a sincere desire on the part of the Two Saints and a Taco Tasting volunteer leaders to boldly pursue their goal of raising as much as possible toward scholarships.”

Chairing the event are Bobby Warren ’02, his wife Taryn Baranowski ’03, and Michael Branda ’76. Warren said, “In our ninth year, we can’t physically come together at St. Arnold Brewery, but the need to financially support our scholars remains as important as ever, if not more so in these times of great challenge.”

“We’ve reimagined our annual event to reflect a virtual setting, but just like always, we’ll combine meeting our target with having record-breaking fun,” Branda added.

Proceeds from the June event will fund scholarships for the 2021 spring semester, helping deserving students to stay in school.

The 9^th Annual Two Saints and a Taco Tasting – Home Edition will be open to all alumni and friends interested in supporting scholarships for UST students. A pre-event donation option is available for those who want the VIP experience and amenities.

Links to the virtual event platforms will be provided in advance, and everyone is enthusiastically invited to attend this special, one-hour experience.
