Calling RNs: $11K Opportunity to Earn Your MSN Online

Top nursing salaries and leadership roles typically go to nurses who have furthered their education. Now, for $11,000 total tuition, an RN with a BSN can earn a Master of Science in Nursing through the online program offered by the Peavy School of Nursing (PSON) at University of St. Thomas - Houston.

Because the program, which begins in fall 2021, can be completed online, working nurses can continue to bring home their salaries by caring for patients in their regular jobs. Moreover, the special design of the 2-to-3-year curriculum helps working graduate students manage the extra load.

Flexibility and Mentorship Built In

Sara N. Johnson, PSON Assistant Director of Admissions, said, “Our MSN program offers flexibility so students can balance work, home and their academic journey. Students are mentored and advised each semester to determine which course load works for them, light or heavy.

On top of that, we have the Graduate Nursing Student Success Center, which is a crucial resource with tangible support staff for our students.”

The remarkable $11,000 total tuition for the program is here to stay and responds to a need in the surrounding community and state.

“It’s not a one-time thing,” Johnson said. “We want this academic opportunity to continue to be affordable to nurses who aspire to be the best.”
