Cameron School of Business offers newly structured, flexible MBA
Now, the University of St. Thomas-Houston’s Cameron School of Business (CSB) offers the most flexible, affordable, and fastest quality MBA available. The newly structured program consists of 30 hours, including the core curriculum and four graduate courses of concentration selected by the student.
“It’s the most flexible MBA in Houston,” said the Director of Graduate Admissions and Assistant Professor of the Cameron School of Business, Dr. Mark Amelang. “Not only are you in and out in 30 hours—saving money—but you can customize your degree in a way most MBAs don’t allow.”
How the Flexibility Works
Typically, in other MBA programs, if a student wanted to specialize, they would complete the core curriculum and take additional hours in their area of specialization—for example, Finance.
However, CSB’s flexibility means that MBA students can choose three or four electives in one subject area, which may qualify the student for concentration: all within 30 hours. At UST, students may choose among Accounting, Finance, Nonprofit Management, International Business, and Marketing as possible areas of concentration.
The Most Respected Accreditation and Capitalism with a Conscience
CSB’s MBA degree program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the most respected accrediting body in business education worldwide.
Amelang added, “Moreover, MBA candidates at UST learn to engage in capitalism with a conscience and weigh the moral implications of business decisions. We empower our MBAs with knowledge, integrity and skills to become a leader in their field.”
Non-Business Majors Can Fast-Track Pre-Requisites for MBA Degree
In another CSB innovation, no longer is an MBA primarily within reach of business majors. CSB now offers an attractive online, fast-track program for students from a non-business background. They can receive the business foundation they need quickly, painlessly, and affordably to complete an MBA successfully.
