Donate to Birdies for Charity and Help Support the University of St. Thomas Golf Teams

University of St. Thomas-Houston Men's and Women's Head Golf Coach Billy Tuten invites you to help support the men's and women's golf teams in their effort to raise $50,000 through Birdies for Charity. Donate to the 2024 campaign beginning Wednesday, Nov. 1, and concluding on Sunday, March 31, 2024.

Donate here.

The donations will fund needed practice equipment, an on-campus practice area, assistant coaches, trainers, and travel expenses for these student athletes whose season spans the fall and spring semesters.

"I have enjoyed coaching at UST the last eight years and have seen the Golf program grow and become very successful,” Coach Tuten said. “We are developing our Men's and Women's programs to be highly competitive each year.”

Birdies for Charity is a fundraising program designed to give local charities and schools the opportunity to generate contributions through the Texas Children's Houston Open, presented by Halliburton. 100% of every donation collected goes directly to your specified nonprofit. The Astros Golf Foundation covers all the administrative costs to make that possible. There is no more impactful way for you to help support your favorite organization.

University of St. Thomas men's golf team under Coach Tuten were the NCAA, Division III, Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) champions in 2022. UST reintroduced golf to its athletic sports line-up in 2011. UST became an official member of the NCAA, Division III in 2022.
