Dr. Lisa Mundey’s area of expertise is modern U.S. military history, with particular interest in the U.S. Afghan War. She researches and teaches Cold War history, the intersection of military and science during the Cold War, and popular culture and memory of the U.S. military. Dr. Mundey is interested in the military’s relationship with the American people and the concepts of militarism and anti-militarism.
