Exploring Authentic Beauty with Leah Darrow

International Catholic Speaker, Leah DarrowOn Thursday, Nov. 14, the University of St. Thomas will welcome Leah Darrow to campus as a guest speaker in their ongoing Community Encounters speaker series. The talk begins at 6:30 p.m. and will be in the Chapel of St. Basil, 1018 W. Alabama.

Darrow is an international Catholic speaker, writer and host of the popular “Do Something Beautiful” podcast. Additionally, darrow is the cofounder of the LUX conference for young adult women and author of “The Other Side of Beauty.”

Darrow will present “From Top Model to Role Model”, an autobiographical talk that tells the story of Darrow’s encounter with Christ and her subsequent conversion. It also reflects on why fame, beauty or money will ever deeply satisfy.

Community Encounters is a speaker series that brings speakers of influence on campus to hold conversations with students and the public at large. Previous speakers include Congressman Dan Crenshaw.
