Impact Fluid Solutions Honored for Partnership with Rising Stars

Team members from Impact Fluid Solutions honored by the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Houston for their tremenous philanthropic contributions to the Greater Houston community, especially to UST. On National Philanthropy Day, the Association of Fundraising Professionals of Houston honored Impact Fluid Solutions for their tremendous philanthropic contributions to the Greater Houston community, especially to the University of St. Thomas. In addition to their generous student scholarship support, Impact Fluid Solutions was the first supporter of the UST Rising Stars Internship Program, providing the initial $25,000 for start-up funding and providing a job for the first student in the program.

“At Impact Fluid Solutions, philanthropy remains a core part of the corporate culture,” said Rod Uchytil, CEO of Impact Fluid Solutions. “The decision to give is always front of mind for us, especially to support the communities in which our employees live and work.”

The Rising Stars Program, now in its fourth year with nearly 180 students, provides first-generation and lower-income, deserving students with the opportunity to attend UST and gain real-life work experience through partnerships with local businesses and nonprofits. Each student earns a substantial portion of UST’s tuition costs while simultaneously gaining relevant work experience. In return, corporate sponsors receive reliable entry-level workers who are poised for future employment.

"The University is proud to call Impact Fluid Solutions a partner in our mission to provide access to education for all deserving students," said Mallory Peterson, Director of Corporate Relations. "Through their initial support of the Rising Stars Internship Program, we have been able to significantly grow the program and experience success beyond what we ever imagined."

Impact places great importance on annual charitable giving and community service initiatives. Over the past ten years, Impact Fluid Solutions has donated more than $1 million to nonprofit organizations, which has all been largely driven by an employee committee. Impact also participates in workplace giving and matching gift programs. Impact Fluid Solutions assists employees’ personal charitable giving by matching qualified charitable gifts dollar for dollar up to $5,000 per employee per calendar year. Impact has also created the Employee Volunteering Support Program.

Join us in congratulating Impact Fluid Solutions on this award!
