Isaiah Edwards '21 to Serve as Alumni Homecoming Chair

Isaiah EdwardsAn ultimate alumni volunteer, Isaiah Edwards '21 always jumps at the opportunity to serve. Recently he lent his talent and time when he volunteered as Homecoming Chair.

In this role, he helps promote Homecoming to alumni and grow the excitement of the event. This assignment is the perfect fit for Edwards because he already serves on the social committee of the Alumni Board. Volunteering with him at this family-friendly event  will be a tailgate chair.

“Isaiah is at everything,” Taylor Mateja, assistant director of Alumni Relations, said.  “He can be, and always is, the first person to volunteer for events.”

Edwards serves on the Alumni Board of Directors and the Advisory Board with Career Services and has been an Insights Mentor. He currently works in Human Resources as a talent recruiter.

“Isaiah is always willing to give his time to support the UST community,” Mateja said. “He genuinely loves the university, and that shows when you have a conversation with him. Before Isaiah served on the Alumni Board of Directors, he consistently offered his time to be a familiar face and a helping hand. He has volunteered at many events such as Grad Fest, Org Fair, and Graduation, just to name a few. He will be a great Homecoming Chair because of his enthusiasm for UST!”
