University of St. Thomas-Houston’s Saint John Paul II Institute will offer a non-credit Polish Texas History course in the month of October to celebrate Polish American Heritage Month.

Spanning over five insightful virtual lectures, join Dr. Jim Mazurkiewicz as he illuminates the profound contributions and intricate journeys of the Polish community in Texas. A distinguished professor at Texas A&M University and UST, Dr. Mazurkiewicz also holds an honorary doctorate from Warsaw University of Life Sciences and serves as the President of the Polish American Council of Texas. The series culminates in a special completion ceremony on October 19.

Dive deep into history every Tuesday and Thursday from 7-8:30 pm, Oct. 3 through 17. The 100% online non-credit series culminates in a special completion ceremony on Oct. 19. Don't miss this opportunity to understand and appreciate the Polish footprint in Texas.
