Successful Rocks My Socks Campaign Supports Student Scholarships

So many happy feet, 333 to be exact, thanks to the “UST Rocks My Socks” campaign.

This year’s UST Rocks My Socks design featured the colorful St. Thomas Aquinas mural by graffiti artist Gonzo 247. The campaign, which launched for one week in early June, successfully raised more than $13,000 for student scholarships.

“Every gift goes a long way in helping ensure the success of UST students,” Jacquelyn Olexa, Director of Stewardship and Annual Giving, said. “For a minimum gift of $25, alumni, faculty, staff and friends received a pair of UST limited edition socks while supplies lasted.“Alumni giving has a direct link to the value of your UST degree,” Olexa said. “Donors could designate their gift to any area of campus they choose, whether it be your school, athletics, scholarships or a special campus program.”

To get in on the fun, the Office of University Advancement invites you to send in your ideas for next year’s sock design. Email give@stthom.edu to submit your ideas.
