Students interested in earning a certificate to secure a good-paying job in some of the most in-demand job sectors in healthcare can take classes at USTMAX Center, the University of St. Thomas’ micro-campus located at 336 N. Main Street, Conroe, Texas. These programs prepare busy adults for employment in as little as three weeks, so students are quickly on their way to a rewarding future in healthcare. Each program includes the national certification required for employment in the field.

According to CALRegional, USTMAX partner provider, “90% of students pass the National Certification Exam and are ready to start their new careers immediately after completion. The programs are affordable, and most students graduate debt-free.”

The Center collaborates with CALRegional to offer classes in several healthcare areas, including:

  • Medical Assistant Program (Hybrid delivery format) – Get hands-on training in various administrative, laboratory and clinical duties.
  • Phlebotomy Technician Program (Hybrid delivery format) – Master the skill of collecting blood and non-blood specimens.
  • Billing & Coding Specialist (Online delivery format) – Maintain and accurately report and categorize patient information.
  • EKG Technician (Online delivery format) – Operate and monitor EKG equipment for patients during diagnostic testing and surgical procedures.

Hybrid classes are a combination of in-person and online instruction.
