The Kolbe School Launches Flexible AAS in General Studies Program

Always putting students first, The Kolbe School at the University of St. Thomas-Houston launches the well-rounded and flexible Associate of Applied Science in General Studies program in spring 2023. The two-year program is designed for any student who wants to get an associate degree and build a foundation of courses in the arts and sciences.

In General Studies, they can take the college level basics and explore some new subjects and courses via the electives.” 

Students will gain exposure to subjects they have not experienced before, and the AAS in General Studies will help prepare them for a four-year degree or advancement in a career. With this multi-disciplinary preparation, students may pursue careers in education, STEM, government, business, and others. 

Program Description

·      100% online and on your schedule

·      60 hours

·      Six-week compressed track terms

Students in this program will have the advantage of an excellent UST education. The Kolbe School focuses on student success through support from the best instructors, limited class sizes, student success coaches, and a host of UST wraparound services.
