UST Offers Free COVID-19 Testing on Campus on Monday, Jan. 4

Free saliva COVID Testing on UST campus on Jan. 4, 2021As part of its community service and in an effort to keep people healthy and safe, University of St. Thomas invites the public to its free COVID-19 testing site on Monday, Jan. 4, 2021, from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. at its Center for Health & Science Professions building, located at 4410 Yoakum Blvd. Testing is in the lobby.

Testing will done by saliva

It is highly suggested that you visit this link to pre-register for the test to expedite your service.  

The self-registration is an easy process. Once registered the appointment confirmation and notification of test results with be sent via cell phone or email account as selected by the individual being tested.

  • No requirements for testing
  • No eating or drinking 15-minutes prior to getting tested
  • Results usually within 48 hours 
  • Positive results receive a medical consultation from a provider

UST partnered with the Texas Dept. of Emergency Management to fund the tests and DOCS Health to administer the tests.

Free street parking is available on Yoakum and surrounding streets and disability parking is available in front of the building. Parking is also available between Yoakum and Montrose on Sul Ross in the parking garage.

UST requires mandatory testing of all residential students and student-athletes to be tested on this date. Faculty, staff and students can also be tested on a voluntary basis.
