UST Offers Free COVID Testing, Oct. 20 and Nov. 10

COVID testingUniversity of St. Thomas will partner with Texas Department of Emergency Management (TDEM) and United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC) for free COVID PCR testing on Tuesday, Oct. 20 and Tuesday, Nov. 10 in the atrium of the Center for Science and Health Professions (CSHP) Building at 4102 Yoakum Blvd on the corner of Yoakum Boulevard and Colquitt Street.

Testing is from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to the UST community and the community at large.

ADA parking in front of the building and general community parking in the garage on West Main between Montrose and Yoakum Boulevards. Additional parking in Moran Parking Garage is available at 3807 Gruastark along with city street parking.

At this site, UST will conduct mandatory testing for UST Residence Hall students, staff, athletes and coaches. Testing is voluntary for other University faculty, staff and non-residential students.

The community can expect test results within two days. A negative test result will be sent by text and a positive test result will receive a phone call from UMMC with next steps instructions.
