UST Testing Center Gets New Home

The new and improved University Testing Center has a new home on the lower level of Doherty Library in Room B010.

Still part of the Mendenhall Achievement Center, this student service is committed to a high quality of service to the students. The Testing Center assists students by providing various testing alternatives. The Center is a quiet space for test taking to accommodate various needs.

Among the things the Testing Center caters to are students who have been granted an accommodation by the Office of Counseling and Disability Services.

The Testing Center, which has been under the auspices of Career Services, is now part of Academic Advising under the leadership of Lee Holm. Navil Izaguirre, will manage the Center.

“The Testing Center is committed to helping our students achieve their academic potential,” Holm said. “We believe our new location in the Doherty Library will provide UST students with a great quiet testing location.”

To reserve time and space (appointments are required) students may call 713-942-3451 or email testing@stthom.edu No walk-ins are accepted.

For greatest success, students should familiarize themselves with the Testing Center student policy and the Testing Center Cover sheet, which can be found on the STTHOM portal, or can be emailed upon request. Faculty also have requirements for delivery and pick up of tests.

The Testing Center is open Monday-Thursday, 8:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. and Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Testing hours are Monday-Thursday, 9 a.m. – 5:30 pm. And Friday, 9 a.m. – 1 p.m.
