Isaiah EdwardsIsaiah Edwards '21 earned a Bachelor's in Liberal Arts with an emphasis in Communication and Theatre. He is a partner/sourcer for Sustainable Talent.

"My goal is to impact our recent grads and alumni community to engage them more in our alumni association. I want all fellow alums to know that UST is their home and that we are always a resource if they need help navigating life after college. Another goal is to create strong and cohesive relationships with our fellow alumni. And my main goal on the board is to be the creative outlet for new and exciting visions and ideas for a strong, progressive, and meaningful alumni community for years to come."

Teresa KaiserTeresa Kaiser '11 earned a B.A. in Communication with a minor in Theology. She works as a philanthropy advisor at Texas Children's Hospital.

"I joined the Alumni Board to give back to the university that has given so much to me. As a student, I found incredible mentors I am still in touch with today and made friends who have become family. I want to ensure current and future students have this same experience and are grateful for their time at UST."

Ashley MartinezAshley Martinez '20 received a joint major in Biology and Theology from UST. She works as a recruitment coordinator for the National Marrow Donor Program/Be The Match.

"For a first-generation student, UST made obtaining a higher education degree possible— but the UST Alumni Board of Directors made it a dream! I am a proud alumna of one of the nation's most caring and invested universities: concerned with their students' minds, bodies and souls."

Rebecca SkaffRebecca Skaff '15 earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and International Studies from UST and a Masters of International Affairs from the Bush School of Government and Public Service at Texas A&M University. She is currently a Senior in the International Tax Division at Ernst and Young LLP.

"I want to volunteer on UST's Alumni Board to give back to the community that gave me so much as a student. I received an education grounded in critical thinking, a foundation for my career, and a forever family through the friends I made there. We, the alumni and the association, must support the student body at UST, because today's students are our leaders of tomorrow."

To serve as a UST Alumni Board member, complete an application to obtain an interview. Position availability depends on the number of members rolling off the board after their three-year term. Applicants are interviewed by the Nominations Committee and other Alumni Board members who decide on acceptance.

“We are thrilled to welcome Teresa, Rebecca, Ashley and Isaiah to the Alumni Board of Directors,” Director of Alumni Relations Amy Youngblood said.  “They each bring impactful and diverse experience from their professional lives and a great UST network to engage.  This new energy promises to enhance the great efforts of the current directors for the 2022-2023 year.  We are so thankful for alumni who make this commitment of service and leadership.”
