This fall, the UST Mandarin Center is hosting Taiwanese Fulbright Scholar Selena Liu for her advanced research at the University of St. Thomas. The Director General from the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Houston, Robert Lo, attended a luncheon hosted by University President Dr. Richard Ludwick to congratulate TECO-Houston on Taiwan’s National Day of Celebration and welcome Ms. Liu on her visit to Houston and UST. In addition to Dr. Ludwick, Director General Lo, and Ms. Liu, other guests included UST board member Don Wang, his wife Mrs. Ming-Yue Hong Wang, Chair of UST’s Center for International Studies Dr. Yao-Yuan Yeh, and Director for TECO-Education Andrea Yang.  

At the luncheon, Director General Lo thanked President Ludwick for his congratulations on Taiwan’s National Day Celebration and lauded UST for hosting Ms. Liu as another example of UST’s steadfast partnership.
