Additionally, Max offered 4 tips to continue growing your faith in college, even if you are not attending a Catholic university:

  1. Get out there and serve
    • Through service you begin to see how God is trying to use you, and that spirituality can help you start to discover and understand your purpose.
  2. Take time to go on retreats
    • It helps you to recenter yourself, especially with a busy college schedule. It allows you to put God back in the center of everything you are doing.
  3. Spend some time in silence
    • Whether that means going to the chapel, driving in your car with the radio off or unplugging in your room quiet yourself and reflect on your day and where God has been through that. Let God speak through that silence. Sometimes you will hear nothing, other times, you will hear a lot.
  4. Create intentional relationships
    • Find people that are passionate about the same things you are and don’t be afraid to share your experiences with others. Who knows, you might touch someone’s heart or inspire them to take the next step in engaging their faith.
