The Garcia-Prats to be Honored at the 10th Annual Faithful Citizenship Celebration

A remarkable couple will be honored for their extraordinary lives of faith at the 10th Annual Faithful Citizenship Celebration held by UST’s Nesti Center for Faith & Culture. This year The Center’s focus of programs and activities is on “the family.” In addition, this is the launching of the Family Life certificate program in collaboration with the Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston. In keeping with that theme, an extraordinary wife and husband, Catherine and Dr. Joseph Garcia-Prats, will be celebrated at the virtual event for their on-going demonstration of God-centered lives in their family and the community.

He is a neonatologist and educator. Both are authors of multiple books and are sought-after motivational speakers.

Married for 47 years, the Garcia-Prats have raised 10 well-grounded sons. The family has continued to expand with six daughters-in-law and 20 grandchildren. Family Services of Greater Houston recognized them as the Houston Family of the Year. Moreover, the couple has been interviewed by Oprah Winfrey and numerous others about their recipe for success in family and faith.

UST’s Nesti Center for Faith & Culture exists to educate faithful citizens and professionals to lead and live as artisans of dialogue and support a better understanding of a God-centered world view.

The 10th Annual Faithful Citizenship Celebration welcomes your participation.
