University of St. Thomas Releases New Celt Athletic Brand Logos

After more than a decade, University of St. Thomas updated it athletic marks to a fresh, modern look that coincides with their transition into the NCAA, Division III.

UST's New Athletic Mark“The Celts have a new lion mascot face that is ferocious and ready for competition,” Todd Smith, UST Athletic Director, said. These new athletic marks have a ‘here we come’ attitude. The timing of these new marks couldn’t be better and the new look works great for this day and age.”

Among those first to view the new athletic marks were faculty and staff when the new marks were showcased at the University’s fall opening day celebration.

“This new logo shape is aligned with the next step in our transition as an athletic program and as a university,” Smith said. “We are ready to get the new athletic brand out to the city of Houston, the state of Texas and all over the country.”

Athletes will show off the new Celt logo on their uniform and gear. The athletic facilities were rebranding this summer. New athletic t-shirts and more will be available in the University’s bookstore this fall.
